The Battle for Babylon: Necropolis and Livication  |
March 13–16, 2013

Conceived and directed by Dan Wolf and Sean San José

In this brand-new theater piece—incorporating dance, music, and more—the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program class of 2015 joins forces with Dan Wolf, founding member of the hip-hop group Felonious, and Sean San José, cofounder of San Francisco’s genre-pushing theater company Campo Santo. The Battle for Babylon explores themes teased from Maxim Gorky’s The Lower Depths, the famous 1902 play that set the stage for the Russian Revolution.

Performances take place at The Costume Shop,  1117 Market Street, San Francisco.
